Professional Tape-Path Maintenance
The R.B. Annis 115-S Han-D-Mag is a professional handheld demagnetizer for removing residual magnetism from tape heads, guides and other steel components in the tape path. Its powerful sine-wave demagnetizing field and compact 2¼-inch probe make it easy to reach the head assemblies of reel-to-reel machines and other magnetic recording equipment.
Regular inspection and proper demagnetization help prevent magnetized tape-path components from degrading recorded material, particularly high-frequency information.

Important Operating Information
Always follow the instructions supplied with the demagnetizer and your tape machine. Turn the recorder off and remove all recorded tape and other magnetically sensitive items from the area before use.
Energize the Han-D-Mag several feet away from the machine, approach the tape path slowly, and withdraw it slowly before disconnecting the power. Never energize or disconnect a demagnetizer near the heads or tape path.
